Incorporating Meditation into your Life.

People of

ten ask me how often I Meditate, and when I tell them "every day" they often say...."I don't have time for that" Well I'm here to tell you, you do, if you really want to.

Do you have time to have a shower every day? Do you have time to eat your lunch? your dinner?

I am sure you do. You make time for these things, and other things that are important to you. As humans we make things we want to do a priority.

I make my Meditation practise a priority in my life, up there with having a shower every day.

It's because I know how much it benefits me, as well as how much enjoyment I receive from it. Who wouldn't enjoy some quiet, quality time with themselves, focusing on yourself, allowing your body, mind and spirit to connect and ground, such an amazing start to every day.

What if I was to tell you that there was something you could do for 20 to 30 minutes every day that you would begin to feel the benefits within weeks? What if I was to tell you this thing could reduce your stress, your blood pressure, that by increasing seretonin levels in the body it can give you a more positive outlook on life, that you would feel happier-every day, that it would give you a calmer perspective, reduce your worry, allow you to focus better and allow you to make decisions easier, and that if you have chronic pain it can help improve that too. It can even increase your energy levels and increase your immune system.

MEDITATION can do all of this and more for you......and if you don't beleive me, (I know it sounds UNBELEIVEABLE!) google it! :-)

Many people who come to me have been told by their doctor to learn to Meditate so they may reduce the stress in their lives. Reduce the factor in their lives that is causing their body to become physically ill. Imagine learning to Meditate BEFORE the stresses of modern day life cause your body to become ill.

As an exercise for yourself, try Meditating for just 5 minutes EVERY day, (and if you don't know how to Meditate, just spend 5 minutes paying attention to your breathing) try to make it, SAME place, SAME time each day. Every time your mind wanders, and it will, just realise your mind has wandered and bring your focus back to your breathing. Just like training a puppy.

As human beings we are creatures of habit. 21 days creates a habit for us. Do this practise every day for 21 days and you will have created a habit. I promise you, you will want to spend more than 5 minutes each day as the days pass by.

I would love to hear your stories and experiences with Meditation.

Give yourself the gift of daily Meditation.
